The “IUPAC Global Women’s Breakfast”, GWB26, is an initiative of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry. The event will take place at the IUPAC offices in Weinheim and Berlin, and is designed to bring together scientists of all genders working predominantly in the field of Chemistry and related disciplines who are interested in promoting equality and diversity. Aligning with the global theme of GWB26, “Many Voices, one Science”, they will feature stimulating input talks including from Prof. Eva Blasco (Universität Heidelberg) & Svjetlana Jerkovic (Women in Chemicals | IMAGINE | ICL Group, Amsterdam) as well as discussions centring on The Power of Networks. After the talks – which will be livestreamed between the Weinheim and Berlin sessions and also to a global audience – there will be room to discuss and network among the participants and participating editors from our journals, accompanied by food and beverages.
The event is free of charge for all attendees. You are welcome to join in person in Weinheim/Berlin or online. You can find more details and the registration here.
