The first spotlight comes from the Coordinator of POLINA, Professor Andreas Heise, from Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) in Dublin, Ireland.
Professor Heise is a distinguished faculty member at the University of Medicine and Health Sciences (RCSI) and serves as the Project Coordinator for POLINA. With an extensive background in biomaterials science and biomedical engineering, Prof. Heise leads the development of lithographic patterning technologies crucial for our advanced biomedical applications.
Under his expert guidance, POLINA is pioneering the integration of lithographic techniques for creating innovative tracheal implants and spheroid models. His work is not only pushing the boundaries of what is possible in medical technology but is also paving the way for transformative solutions in patient care.
